Un Peu D'Histoire

Mike et Karnig se sont rencontrés au Royaume-Uni (comme tous deux de Londres) et ont commencé un groupe ensemble en 2013. Ils ont ensuite déménagé en Californie et après un certain temps, ils ont été rejoints par Kiliyan (qui est de Los Angeles) en 2015.

A Propos Du Nom

«Nous étions dans un bar à Nashville et nous essayions de nous défiler du paiement d'une facture dans un bar. La serveuse a dit que nous étions un tas de charmants menteurs ("charming liars" en anglais) pour avoir fait semblant d'être anglais et avoir essayé de ne pas payer l'addition... et c'est de là que vient le nom. »

De l'ancien au nouveau, rien de précis. Ils ont tous grandi dans une variété de genres et aucun style ou groupe ne les a influencés spécifiquement.

Ils sont la première partie de Palaye Royale pour une grande partie de leur tournée "The Bastards" (2020).

Their Story

Mike and Karnig met in the UK (both from London) and started a band together in 2013. They then moved to California and after a while they were joined by Kiliyan (who is from Los Angeles ) in 2015.

About The Name

"We were in a bar in Nashville and we were trying to charm our way out of paying a bill. The waitress said we were a bunch of charming liars for pretending to be English and getting out of paying the bill... and that's where the name comes from. "

From the old to the new, nothing specific. They all grew up in a variety of genres and no single style or group influenced them specifically.

Anecdote(s)

They were the opening band of Palaye Royale for a large part of their tour "The Bastards" (2020 & 2022).

They also opened for The Struts and White Lies !
