On November 12, Feuerschwanz and Lord of the Lost unveiled their collaboration with the release of the single Lords of Fyre. The track symbolizes the meeting of two very distinct musical worlds: Feuerschwanz, with its festive power metal, and Lord of the Lost, faithful to its theatrical gothic metal. Together, they fused their influences to create a powerful track, blending dynamic riffs and dark atmospheres, while tackling themes of war and power.
While the two bands have shared the stage on a number of occasions, Lords of Fyre marks their first real joint project. Hodi, from Feuerschwanz, explained that although they come from different musical genres, collaborating on this track was both a challenge and a real pleasure. Chris Harms, from Lord of the Lost, expressed his enthusiasm, pointing out that this project allows them to realize bold ideas they might not have considered on their own.
