You've been waiting for it and here it is! Patknot unveiled his very first solo album on December 28th 2021 and he didn't disappoint us!
Composed of 8 tracks (with Intro and Outro), 3 of them had the chance to have their Lyrics video (Nevermore, Hope Song, Bella Cio) and a fourth one even had the pride to have its own video (Away From Me).
Patknot goes deeper into the world of Metal with this album that will make your head swing up and down to the rhythm of the music. We start with an intro that begins with a few piano notes accompanied by a dull sound that reminds the wind. The other instruments are added then little by little, creating an atmosphere more and more heavy to finish with a riff of guitar which reminds us strongly its creator.
We continue by strolling between engaged songs with a strong rhythm and songs that lead us to reflect on ourselves with a slower tempo, a softer atmosphere and sound. This is what I feel when I listen to Hope Song.
Patknot even offers us Pandemonium, a track with featuring Geisha Skills! It's far from being their first collaboration but they always manage to surprise us, either by the complexity of the track or the originality they show.
The album ends with the outro entitled FOSTIS, which are the initials of the title of the album. -But you probably already know that.- This track starts with a strange atmosphere composed of the same elements as the intro that brings us back to an introspection already in progress, to take us in a heavier atmosphere that puts us almost in trance, to come back to a neutral temperature, almost relaxing, making us understand that it is the end of this album, the end of this chapter.
