Released on July 18, Slaughter to Prevail's new album, Grizzly, leaves no one indifferent. The band, which has been steadily growing in popularity over the past few years, continues to climb the ranks with class and determination.

Although already riding high on the success of their latest tours and appearances at major festivals, where the band even set a world record for the largest Wall of Death at Hellfest 2024, Grizzly shows us that Slaughter To Prevail still has plenty left in the tank!

A band with such a unique sound that, according to the media, it doesn't even fit into any one category; sometimes labeled deathcore, sometimes metalcore, or even Russian metal powerhouse, Slaughter To Prevail draws us in with its captivating and electrifying sounds. That's their recipe, and it works like a charm! It seems that this allows them to perfect their craft with each new song, adding a personal touch that is different yet familiar each time. This is clearly their strength: creating a Slaughter To Prevail that is instantly recognizable without ever becoming tiresome, thanks to technical gems such as the unique atmospheres on Viking-style tracks, where the musical backdrop transports us to another world, epic and heroic. But let's also talk about the incredible breakdowns, each as different as they are delicious!
Of course, the musicians' absolutely fabulous technique and Alex's unique voice are what make the band so successful. With a strong image both in their artwork and in Alex Terrible's personality, Slaughter To Prevail is a band that stands out and knows how to get the crowd going. They have achieved the incredible feat of beating the Spotify plays of some commercial pop stars. We were therefore eager to hear the latest album. And even though some singles had already been released quite some time ago, the pleasure of discovering the new tracks and collaborations on the latest album remains intact.
Alex Terrible had already worked with Falling In Reverse on the track Ronald in 2024, and now Ronnie Radke is featured on the track Imdead, and the collaboration is just as delicious in both directions! Also worth noting is the collaboration with Babymetal, who are pros at the art of collaboration. The three singers have worked with many of the biggest stars in metal and now add the track 3 with Slaughter To Prevail to their list of achievements.
An album rich in hard work, creativity, and diverse yet coherent inspirations—that's the gold that Slaughter To Prevail offers us today with Grizzly!
Delighted by this listen that exceeded our expectations, the Earama team is won over and eager to see how far the members of this band, who systematically seek to surpass themselves, will go next time.
Also worth noting is the new tour, The Grizzly Winter Tour, which will kick off in January 2026:

In the meantime, we hope you enjoy this album as much as we do, and we leave you with Alex Terrible's own words:
"I think this is the best album we have ever written. We put so much effort into it. We spent a lot of time on every detail and really poured our souls into the songs. In the past, we were always rushing to finish albums and just releasing whatever we had. This time, we took our time, worked carefully on each track, and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. Hopefully it was all worth it.”
