156/silence unveils its new album just before heading out on a European tour!
156/Silence is releasing From A Distance today, and has no plans to send out invitations. They’re letting you come on your own. It’s more economical that way. Following People Watching, released in 2024 -which had already shown a desire to break away from the standard metalcore formula- the band continues here to push the boundaries a little further. The first previews already offered us songwriting that was as diverse as it was surprising, with delightfully varied sounds.

Europe : When the madness comes there’s no final countdown !
Europe, a name that evokes the very first hard rock bands of the 1980s… Ah, Joey Tempest with his hair blowing in the wind ; he made girls dream and turned heads. One might have reasonably assumed that their success, like that of so many others at the time, would be short-lived. Hits came one after another from one band to the next, but they usually lasted only for a single or two, an album at most, especially when they became popular! But that was without counting on their v

Dropkick Murphys hits hard with Citizen I.C.E., a fierce new single
When Dropkick Murphys release a new track, it's never just for the sake of making noise. With Citizen I.C.E., the Boston band hits where it hurts, transforming an old track into a political firebrand. Between rage and urgency, the single denounces institutional violence in the United States and reminds us that the band has never stopped combining music and activism.
