The Pretty Reckless : The band is releasing a new album and embarking on a new tour !

Following Life Evermore pt.1 and For I Am Death, The Pretty Reckless release When I Wake Up and its music video, announcing a new album and a new European tour! Having recently opened for AC/DC on the Power Up tour, which included two dates at the Stade de France, the band continues its rise in the alternative rock scene with a fifth album ready to set the crowds ablaze.
The Pretty Reckless is set to make a big splash in 2026! Following the release of their first single, For I Am Death, in August 2025, the band has just released When I Wake Up, the second official single from Dear God, their fifth and upcoming album, set to be released on June 26, 2026.
For I Am Death signaled a transition toward a new album for the band, both through a musical evolution and a music video showcasing the charismatic Taylor Momsen’s bold transformation into a creature of the night, akin to a bat. It’s a polished video that fits perfectly with the American band’s artistic style : sexy, edgy, and dark.
The second track takes a more liberated approach, showcasing the carefree spirit we’ve come to know so well from The Pretty Reckless. With a POV music video, we’re plunged into the “sex, drugs, and rock’n’roll” world that so perfectly defines this rock band. A bit of provocation, a bit of playfulness ; that’s what we’ve come to expect from the band, and that’s what we’re expecting from this new album.
One detail to note, however: initially simply titled For I Am Death, the video’s title is now For I Am Death & Life Evermore pt. 2. So we’ve been treated to the first three tracks of the album in “order.” No new single has been announced yet, but we’re curious to see if the following one will be Love Me, and whether this is just a coincidence or if The Pretty Reckless is trying to tell us a story through their provocative style and heavy riffs.
The band is set to perform at Hellfest on June 18, as well as at the Zénith of Paris on November 24 as part of their upcoming European tour!
