It looks like it’s back-to-school season for everyone! And that’s exactly what today’s lineup of new releases suggests. Ranging from rock’n’roll to stoner metal, we’ve put together a short (or not-so-short) list of what caught our attention today - in alphabetical order, because my OCD hasn’t left the chat yet.

Seven years after Boneshaker, Airbourne are unveiling their new self-titled album today. And while the Australian legends have recently proven that they can still shake up venues and festivals around the world, they are now bringing us proof that Rock has not thrown in the towel. Nickelback is back. The Canadian rock band has announced 'Everything Under The Sun', due out on October 30, 2026 via Virgin Music Group. Alongside the announcement comes 'Rattle The Cage', the album's lead single featuring John 5, following the earlier release of 'Bones for the Crows'. Judging by these first two tracks, Nickelback's return is shaping up to be loud, energetic, and unmistakably their own.

For their final show, the Dropkick Murphys chose Paris—or rather, Paris chose them, as the place to finish what they started. On this fourth day, festival-goers who had been there since the beginning were starting to feel the fatigue, but that didn’t stop them from breaking records, reaching 16,000 attendees to close these four intense days.
