On this fourth day, festival-goers who had been there since the beginning were starting to feel the fatigue, but that didn’t stop them from breaking records, reaching 16,000 attendees to close these four intense days. It was time to head back to the festival grounds, with the melancholy of the final day and the excitement of the lineup ahead.

I started this final day with Lunar Tombfields at 12:30 on the Supositor. In a still relatively calm atmosphere, the band sets a dark and immersive tone, perfect for easing into the day… or almost. The audience, still in a waking phase, gradually lets itself be drawn into this cold and captivating performance.

At 13:15, I head to the Dave Mustage for Angelmaker. A band I didn’t know before Motocultor, and without a doubt one of my best surprises of the weekend. The band quickly imposes its intensity, delivering constant energy and well-crafted breakdowns that immediately resonate with the audience. Despite the accumulated fatigue, the pit comes alive quickly. An unexpected slap, exactly the kind of discovery you hope for at a festival.

I then stopped by the press area at 14:10 for another “Truth or Dare” moment, this time with VonSharon. True to the concept, the exchange quickly goes in unexpected directions, mixing humor, spontaneity, and completely unpredictable moments.

Back to the stages with Locomuerte at 15:30 on the Supositor. Just like during the interview, the band shows no restraint. Their set is a pure burst of raw energy and contagious good vibes. The audience instantly connects, turning the pit into a real playground.

At 16:20, Ensiferum takes over the Dave Mustage. The Finnish band delivers an epic set, driven by federating melodies and a resolutely festive atmosphere. Between sing-alongs and catchy rhythms, the audience almost forgets the fatigue and lets itself be carried away.

I then return to the press area at 16:45 for another “Truth or Dare” session, this time with Harakiri For The Sky. A moment both funny and surprising, contrasting with the much darker universe of the band on stage.

At 17:00, it’s time for the closing conference of the Motocultor Festival. An opportunity to look back at this edition: record attendance, solid organization, and above all, a unique atmosphere. A calmer moment that slowly marks the beginning of the end.

Back to the Dave Mustage at 18:05 with Fear Factory. The band delivers a powerful and controlled set, blending industrial riffs with surgical precision. A solid performance that keeps the intensity of the day high.

At 19:00, I head to the Massey Ferguscene for Between The Buried And Me. True to their reputation, the band delivers a technical and demanding set, moving between genres with impressive ease. A dense moment that rewards attentive listeners.

Then comes one of the most striking moments of the weekend: Landmvrks at 19:55 on the Dave Mustage. The band delivers an outstanding performance, with incredible energy and a total connection with the crowd. On the third track, slammers multiply, making it difficult for the fest’security to follow up ! Each song is shouted back, each breakdown triggers waves in the pit. A truly memorable moment, and undoubtedly one of the highlights of this edition.

At 21:00, the atmosphere shifts again with Harakiri For The Sky on the Massey Ferguscene. The band immerses the audience in a deep and melancholic universe, offering a suspended and emotional moment.

A short dinner break follows, taking the time to recharge, share moments with friends and colleagues, and slowly realize that the experience is coming to an end…

But one final act remains: Machine Head at 00:05 on the Dave Mustage. And what a way to close the festival. From the very first notes, the tone is set: power, precision, and an absolutely commanding stage presence. The band delivers a monumental performance, with massive riffs, a fully engaged crowd, and an energy that never fades. A closing show worthy of their status, bringing the festival to a powerful and unforgettable end.

This fourth day brings an exceptional edition of the Motocultor Festival to a close. More than just a succession of concerts, these four days have been a true immersion, a space outside of time where passion, intensity, and human connection meet.

And even with the tiredness felt when leaving, it disappears quickly to let only one thing in our minds : We will come back.
