Revnoir opens up a little more with “Fracture” and announces its debut album!

Recently seen on stage at Motocultor, Hellfest, and VandB Fest, Revnoir is keeping the momentum going and today releases Fracture, a track that prompts reflection on humanity in this day and age, and announces its debut album, Sometimes I Feel You, Sometimes I Don’t, set for release on November 27 via Arising Empire!
For about two years now, the name Revnoir has been popping up everywhere - at festivals, concerts, on social media... You’ve seen their name; you may even have seen them on stage… But what makes this young French band a must-see on the modern metal scene is undoubtedly their ability to blend textures and languages, reflection and connection through their profound lyrics and tortured riffs, leading the listener to introspection while listening, and a sense of release when they scream those same lyrics live.
And that’s exactly what the quartet offers us today with Fracture, the second single from their debut album, which delves into images of a humanity that’s missing from the human population, all while holding onto that glimmer of hope for better days.
« I wrote ‘Fracture’ after seeing footage of roundups - people torn from their lives overnight, sometimes right in front of their children. It haunted me for weeks. We live in an age when we can send a rocket to Mars, yet we still treat human beings like numbers to be cleared away. This song captures that very sense of disbelief: how can we be so technologically advanced and yet still so far removed from even the slightest trace of humanity? »

In June 2026, we were introduced to Alchemised, a collaboration with Carpenter Brut, which already showcased the expanded range of Revnoir’s capabilities. And while we might have thought this shift in direction was due to the synthwave artist, Fracture confirms that the band knows how to explore and take risks, all while asserting its identity - even when solo.
So here’s a promising-looking album set to be released on November 27 via Arising Empire, titled Sometimes I Feel You, Sometimes I Don’t ; a name that already evokes the melancholy Maxime is sure to explore on this debut album. And if, like me, you’re already eager to see the “Revelation of the Year” from the 2025 Foudres awards on stage, you’ll be happy to know that the band has already scheduled a headlining tour of France for February 2027!
