Entitled The Revenge of Alice Cooper, the artist's new album is released today, July 25, 2025! We had the immense honor of getting a sneak preview, and let me tell you, we had a blast—lucky us at Earama!

The original lineup of the band is celebrating its reunion after more than 50 years! The fans' impatience and curiosity are at fever pitch. And they won't be disappointed. Following the triumphant concerts of his last tour, where compliments were plentiful for the artist's timeless energy and stage professionalism, this album will once again mark Alice Cooper's history with panache!
The tracks follow one another and are all different, starting with Black Mamba, which immediately immerses us in Cooper's world, taking us from one surprise to the next!
The name of this album was definitely not chosen at random. It features all the colors of the tracks that have made Cooper's style so inimitable. Shock rock is obviously in the spotlight, but that's not all!
Some tracks are imbued with the very early days of rock, starting with rock worthy of Presley's first loves. Tinged with blues and a jazzy note, we close our eyes and see sepia images of rock players in bars for connoisseurs, as their music was considered a permanent blasphemy. Can you see him? That blues-rock man, hat on his head, small shirt and tie, spellbound by his music as if possessed by the notes of his guitar. Then, as time and music move forward, that pianist who lets his hands play for his soul in crazy notes that follow one another relentlessly. Have I set the scene well enough for you?
Alice Cooper has built us a beautiful time machine, retracing the very creation of rock. We also pass through beautiful shades of rockabilly and even a track with certain intonations reminiscent of The Beatles. I must admit that my head is still spinning like a 33 rpm record played like a 45! What a pleasure and what mastery!

We were lucky enough to listen to the collector's box set version of the album, which allowed us to discover another gem: an unreleased and unedited version of Return of the Spiders from 1970, simply restored by Bob Ezrin. A good reason to buy this version, believe me! And if you need another reason, a second track entitled Titanic Overunderture will be included in the collector's edition, which is available here.
The Revenge of Alice Cooper is truly an incomparable album, crafted in a unique way. You'll even have the pleasure of a posthumous appearance by Glen Buxton's guitar thanks to a studio recording included in the track What Happened To You.
Alice, Neal, Michael, and Dennis chose an old-fashioned studio in Connecticut with Bob Ezrin to wave his magic wand, so that the spell of the first albums could be brought back to life, and... it worked! We fall under the spell again, just like on the first day, and no one has lost any of their splendor or creativity.
So enjoy the listen, everyone, and long live the dark king of rock as we love him: dark, powerful, spellbinding—in two words, “Alice Cooper”!
