On April 14, Mexican rock trio The Warning performed at the Olympia in Paris. With Storm Orchestra as support act, we had a very promising evening ahead of us, and it didn't disappoint!
As soon as the doors opened, we could see that the venue was already packed for a Parisian Monday evening. We spotted looks of all kinds, from fans who tend to let loose a little more at these events. The venue's alternative playlist had the audience singing along even before the musicians arrived, creating the usual Olympia waiting atmosphere.

Storm Orchestra : 2nd outstanding performance at Olympia
This was Storm Orchestra's second Olympia, following their acclaimed appearance as support act for Ayron Jones and Black Stone Cherry on November 6, 2024.
The band arrived on stage in complete darkness, before exploding into Bright Soul. It's only the first track, and the trio are already delivering crazy energy on stage, drawing the crowd in to do the same. There were only 6 tracks on their setlist that night, but they didn't let it intimidate them and showed what they were capable of.
There's plenty of interaction with the audience, and Maxime, the band's singer and guitarist, even calls out, "Are there any drummers in the room? This song is for you!" before playing Drummer. A little later in the evening, he and Adrien, the band's bassist, will each take one side of the room for a scream battle. Storm Orchestra knows how to captivate an audience, both with their wacky interactions and with the presence and energy of their stage performances.
In all, we can count three tracks from their album Get Better, released 3 days before the concert: Bright Soul (the opening song of the concert and also of the album), the song for the drummers and Superplayer.
The band shouted “Make some noise for the team at the Olympia, for The Warning, but also for yourselves!” before leaving the stage to thunderous applause.

The Warning : electric shock at the Olympia
The whole venue was impatiently awaiting the arrival of the headliner. At 9pm, the lights went down, the crowd started to scream and the musicians took their places under the sole light of a security guard's flashlight. And if the crowd was already excited, it was when the lights came up on the first guitar riff that they really went wild. You could feel the floor shake as the energy of the audience matched the joy of the musicians on stage.
We're faced with a setlist made up of the Keep Me Fed album, released in June 2024, in its entirety, with other tracks plucked here and there from their discography, but above all from the ERROR album, released in 2022.
The trio from Mexico know exactly what they're doing, and set the room alight. By the end of the fourth track, the audience is clapping their hands and shouting out the band's name, giving The Warning a real standing ovation - and they're far from finished surprising them! Indeed, at the end of Apologize, Daniella takes to the stage and delivers a technically impressive, flawless solo, much to the delight of the fans.
And if Storm Orchestra knew how to interact with their audience, so did The Warning! The interactions are too numerous to count, and so are the number of thank-yous.
To kick off the song MONEY, the band made the crowd shout ‘cash’ and ‘money’ at the end of a ‘un dos tres’ before starting to play, getting the fans to follow along on the track. Between songs, Dany expressed her gratitude: “We're from Mexico, we're happy to be here, back in France with you guys”, eliciting a warm ovation. She also took care to ensure the audience's well-being, asking: "Is everyone ok? Let us know if you're not ok", showing a touching attention to her fans.
Leaving the stage first after EVOLVE, the trio return for the encores after a thunderous applause that shakes the walls of the legendary Parisian venue, to play Narcisista and Automatic Sun. The siblings then leave the stage, thanking their audience, who cheer them on with all the enthusiasm and joy resonating in the room.
It's hard to put into words such a perfect performance. The Mexican trio know all the tricks to deliver a perfect show that lives up to their reputation. Guitar riffs and hearts rang out in unison in the legendary Olympia venue, leaving fans with memories in their heads and music in their souls.
