Wings of Steel continues to take us high and announces the release of their new album, ‘Winds of Time’.

The band Wings of Steel recently unveiled their new album, Winds of Time, due out on October 17, 2025, via High Roller Records. To mark the occasion, the band released the music video for the single We Rise, the first taste of this new album.

Of course, we eagerly listened to and enjoyed this new track with curiosity and excitement. Beyond appreciating a brilliantly crafted single, old-school metal, and a passion that shines through, we were surprised to discover that the video is peppered with images from their 2025 tour, starting with... Yes! The Heavy Weekend that we covered last June in Nancy, where we had the honor of interviewing them (available here). 

That's where Wings of Steel kicked off their 2025 campaign with an impressive concert to open the second day. In front of an enthusiastic audience of Vanden Plas, Europe, and Dream Theater fans, the band performed a preview of the epic Winds of Time, a monumental piece lasting over 10 minutes! It was on this occasion that the band told us they had signed with High Roller Records for two fundamental reasons:

-Creative freedom and the identity they want to maintain, both of which are respected by the label;

-The opportunity to sell their albums in Europe, as their store had previously only offered its services across the Atlantic.

For us Europeans, we will therefore have to go through the High Roller Records website to buy this new album, while in the United States, it will have to be purchased on the band's website.

We also discussed the topic of physical music sales via CDs and vinyl records, which is becoming a real challenge for bands, so in two words : “Support, buy !”

In short, only two tracks are available at the moment to give us an idea of what to expect from the new album by this timeless and extraordinary rock ‘n’ roll band, but what great tracks they are! We can't wait to hear the album and share our thoughts with you!

In the meantime, you can catch Wings Of Steel live on Saturday, September 13, 2025, in Toreilles, near Perpignan, at the Pyrenean Warriors Open Air festival. We highly recommend going if you want to experience pure metal!
