Today marks the release of Nova Twins' long-awaited album Parasites & Butterflies, their third studio album, which showcases the versatility of the English duo as they juggle styles and push the boundaries of the genre. Blending alternative rock, RnB influences, and touches of synthwave, Amy Lee and Georgia South offer us a unique, vibrant sound, the perfect alter ego of a catchy pop album in an alternative universe.

Among the 12 tracks are Monsters, the first single that was nominated twice for BRIT Awards, as well as Soprano and N.O.V.A, which stands out as an anthem among all these hits. Nova Twins hold nothing back: experimentation that breaks down genre barriers, concrete and sometimes even provocative themes, and a renowned producer, Rich Costey, who has already worked with Deftones and Foo Fighters (for whom the duo has even opened!).

We are taken on a journey between quieter moments and a party atmosphere, between soft music and moments of chaos... This is a theme that permeates the album, and one that Amy and Georgia were keen to talk about:

« ‘Parasites & Butterflies’ is about the bridge between chaos and beauty, embracing and accepting both sides. ‘Supernova’ was about being superhuman in a time when we needed to be. With ‘Parasites & Butterflies’, we wanted to showcase something deeply human: how vulnerability can be as empowering as it is revealing in its honesty. By playing with opposites, light and shade, you can feel a contrast throughout the album. You’ll find songs that make you want to dance, cry, self-reflect, or even escape. Life is a constant balancing act, but the thrill of the unknown is what makes us feel truly alive. »

In keeping with their philosophy of refusing nothing and continuing their rise to fame, the duo will not only be opening for other acts, but will also be embarking on a European headline tour in just a few weeks! You can see them at the Alhambra in Paris on October 8, 2025 !
