Caskets release 'Closure', third transcending track from their new album !

This Thursday, August 28, the Yorkshire band Caskets relase Closure, the third single from their album The Only Heaven You'll Know, scheduled for release on November 7, 2025.

Caskets continues to evolve, and we can see this once again with their new track, Closure, which blends modern synthwave with the electric metalcore that the band does so well. But beyond the perfectly mastered technique of this delicious mix, we delve deeper into personal and introspective themes through images and rhymes that reflect the authenticity of Matt Flood's writing.

"Closure speaks about the breaking point in a toxic cycle, that moment when you realise the answers you search for will never come. Then having to walk away knowing there will always be this cell of wonder and confusion clouding your mind. [...] I’ve learnt that closure sometimes doesn’t come from the words or actions of others, but from finally saying it’s over, it’s okay, and walking away"

-Matt Flood-

While Make Me A Martyr was the first track to be released, it was the title track, released on July 24, 2025, that announced this new era. These three tracks set the tone for this new opus: more introspective and deeper than its predecessors, Lost Souls and Reflections, which already showed what the quartet was capable of. We can only wait impatiently for this new album, available for pre-order here!

Matt Flood, singer and frontman of the quartet, said that this album is "the sound of me falling apart in real time. Every song is a confession. About love that rots you from the inside, about pretending you’re okay when you’re drowning, about trying to find peace in a world that makes you feel nothing.‘The Only Heaven You’ll Know’ isn’t about salvation - It’s about surviving the wreckage when it never comes. Grieving the parts of myself I had to bury just to cope, Doing anything I could to block out the noise. This record isn’t a cry for help, it’s me trying to make sense of the chaos around me, and find a way through to the other side. These songs are my scars, proof I made it through, even when I thought I was doomed."

The band will then promote this new album on tour across Europe and the UK from November 27 to December 18, accompanied by The World Alive, with a stop at the Alhambra of Paris on December 10th !
