Nova Twins sets the Alhambra alight, accompanied by HotWax!

On October 8, the iconic female duo from London, Nova Twins, took to the stage at the Alhambra for a truly electrifying evening, accompanied by their opening act, the British trio HotWax.

To kick off the evening in style, HotWax immediately fired up the crowd with their energetic punk rock. From the very first notes, you could feel the band's intensity and passion. They rocked the house with songs like Change My Name, One More Reason, and their hit Rip It Out.


The audience, already packed in front of the stage, responded to every riff. It was an explosive performance that got the crowd pumped up before the long-awaited show by the two English women. It was a wonderful discovery for some, and for fans already won over, it was a concert that lived up to their expectations.

When Nova Twins took to the stage, the tone was set from the very first seconds. The band made their intentions clear right from the start, opening their setlist with Black Roses, before seamlessly transitioning into Sandman and Cleopatra. It was a powerful introduction that instantly created an electrifying atmosphere in the room.


Lead singer Amy Love delivered an impressive vocal performance that won over the entire audience. Between powerful screams and mesmerizing high notes, she captivated her audience from start to finish. Accompanied by the harmonious backing vocals of her partner, Georgia South, the latter set the pace for the evening with her catchy bass lines. Together, they form a magnetic duo, sharing an undeniable chemistry on stage.


As the concert progressed, a real connection was created with the audience. The spectators responded to each of their requests with infectious energy, transforming the venue into a space for musical exchange and communion. This moment of sharing culminated when they decided to crowd surf during their iconic song Choose Your Fighter. Carried by their fans, they managed to combine technical skill and spontaneity, making this moment both spectacular and intimate.

Giant white flowers, Marshall amps covered in black and white butterflies, colorful and rhythmic lights - it was undeniably a magical set design for a dynamic performance.


In conclusion, Nova Twins proved once again that they don't just play; they transform the stage into a field of pure energy. With power, complicity, and attitude, the London duo delivered an authentic, intense, and flawless show.
