While this Friday, August 29, is packed with exciting releases, Helloween's album Giants & Monsters is sure to turn heads! The album reunites the original lineup and proves that the German septet is still living up to its reputation.

Announced last June with the track This Is Tokyo, which already set the tone for the album, we also got to discover Universe, written by guitarist Sascha Gerstner, which takes us beyond the limits of the cosmos with a composition reminiscent of the German band's legendary style. These 10 tracks are added to the pumpkin's discography on a perhaps less symphonic but more experimental level. The band is celebrating four decades and continues to push its limits, which even led Dani Löble to record each track on three different drum kits!

The septet offers us a dynamic new opus, playing with the boundaries of genres and once again asserting itself at the forefront of the heavy metal scene. And for a legendary band to create a legendary album, you need a suitable studio, in other words, Wisseloord Studios in Hilversum, Netherlands, which has also hosted Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Def Leppard in the past.
With Giants & Monsters, Helloween proves once again that its 21 gold and platinum records are well deserved, surrounding itself with the best and calling on Charlie Bauerfeind, known for his work with Saxon, Blind Guardian, and HammerFall, and Dennis Ward, now bassist for British hard rock band Magnum !
And while at first glance you might wonder where the album's traditional “silly song” is, Helloween's humor immediately comes through in some of the lyrics and in the video for A Little Is A Little Too Much, which was posted online this morning.
It's an album full of surprises that the band will promote on a world tour that will bring them to the Zénith of Paris on October 22 as part of their 40 Years Anniversary Tour! One thing is certain: Helloween has not finished surprising us, both in the studio and live!
